Battle of the Old Airport Road Wanton Mee - Hua Kee Hougang vs Cho Kee

It seems like there is a tense rivalry with two Wanton Mee stalls side by side, vying for top honours. (Similarly, a few stalls down, there are two Prawn Mee stalls in the same situation... Whitley Prawn Mee and Albert Street Prawn Mee). 

Both stalls look like there are in the midst of training up the next generation to take over the business, which is very heartwarming. But here is a quick comparison between the two noodles... 

Hua Kee in my opinion, has the better Chilli paste, and a juicier Char Siew bits. Cho Kee on the other hand has a more organic flavour to it, meaning to say not having to rely on Chilli to lend flavours. In addition, their Wantons are more plump and with more bite.
